Evolution Of Music: Where Are We Going?

Evolution Of Music: Where Are We Going?
Grab three pennies and put them back on your stylis so your record doesn’t skip, blow the dust off your 8 tracks, stick that pencil back into your wheels of the cassette and reel the tape back in, get your cloth out and gently wipe off the fingerprints of your CD, drag and drop your mp3’s into your player and let’s figure out what is next.
Can you believe in one generation we have lived through so many inventions to ways of listening to music? I miss the records, the chance to open up that package and look at the inserts and pictures. It was always such a cool feeling. Plus they were really big. CD’s try to compact more info into it and offered multimedia on the CD’s themselves which was a cool idea if you listened to the CD’s on your computer. A few days ago I was just sitting around thinking about whats next, what big thing is out there and how will it impact my life and others who are music fans and/or entertainment fans. Of course the internet will be everywhere, in cars, planes, busses, anywhere you can imagine the net will be there and you will have options for personal entertainment. It will be the age of “4G Entertainment” bring it on!
I am thinking of, above all that is out there what brand new invention can we work on to take it to a new level. “Interactive 3D Music” or “I3D”.  The development of an interactive player that throws the image or video into 3D and in hologram in front of you. A player of this magnatude would of course not come cheap. The opportunity to see your music and adjust what you hear in front of you without the use of a remote control. Here are a few examples; when your music is on, the player will project what it stored on it in the open area, showing either video of the music or an oscilating scale which will also have options that you can adjust the sound, quality, loudness through hologram  projected buttons.  Another vision would be your computer options in front of you.
Did I lose you yet? Well I don’t want to run on with my vision all in one article, so I will make this a 2 part series and conclude in the next article.
